What is the Active 20-30 Club
Active 20-30 is a non-profit organization that is made up of men and women between the ages of 20 and 40 with an opportunity for personal growth, friendships and leadership development while improving the quality of life for our children in our communities.
Our organization differs from many service organizations because we not only raise money for children's charities but also encourage "hands on" interaction. This active participation serves to solidify our relationships with those we serve, maintains motivation, and produces a degree of personal satisfaction.
History of Redwood Empire #1029
The Active 20-30 Organization of the United States and Canada provides young adults with an opportunity for personal growth, friendship and leadership development while improving the quality of life for disadvantaged children in their community.
In February 1990, the Active 20-30 Club of the Redwood Empire was founded by a group of local businesswomen. It is comprised both of single and married women in their 20’s and 30’s who want to make a difference in their local community.
Redwood Empire 20-30 has a rich history of involvement in the Sonoma County community as a non-profit service organization. The club holds fundraisers, participates in hands-on events, donates funds to local organizations, and holds socials in addition to entertaining general meetings.
The Code
With the productive years of my life before me, with ambitions and ideals to be realized, I accept the following principles necessary in their attainment: To show proper appreciation for my community, and to do everything in my power for its growth and development; To recognize that friendship is reciprocal and that friendly cooperation is the foundation of society; to offer sincere service to Active 20-30 Club and to fulfill to the best of my ability any task that the organization my assign me
